DigitalBlast Signs MoU with Thailand’s mu Space to Jointly Promote Lunar Exploration Program
DigitalBlast Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shingo Horiguchi), a company that develops compact life science experiment devices and supports the revitalization of the space industry and creation of new businesses, and mu Space and Advanced Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bangkok, Thailand; CEO & CTO: James Yenbamroong, hereafter “mu Space”), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 25, 2025, to collaborate in promoting a lunar exploration program.
This partnership aims to contribute to Thailand’s national program, the National Space Experiment and Exploration, by jointly advancing lunar exploration efforts. Moving forward, the two companies will strengthen their collaboration through research activities, human resource development, and knowledge sharing in the field of space technology.
Key Areas of Collaboration
Under the MoU, DigitalBlast and mu Space will focus on the following areas of cooperation:

Organizing lunar missions and supporting the execution of life science experiments

Supporting life science experiments conducted on the Japanese Experiment Module “Kibo” of the International Space Station (ISS) as a preliminary demonstration platform for lunar missions

Organizing and supporting the execution of space missions and experiments with a view toward the post-ISS era
On May 20, CEO Shingo Horiguchi and other representatives visited Thailand and held discussions with members of mu Space and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)—with whom DigitalBlast signed a separate MoU in January 2025—on the future use and development of space.
