[Event Report] Talk Event “From the Gut to Space: Co-Creating Future Markets” Held

On Friday, June 13, 2025, we co-hosted a talk event titled “From the Gut to Space: Co-Creating Future Markets” with Metagen Inc. at X-NIHONBASHI BASE.

During the event, Dr. Shinji Fukuda, CEO of Metagen, shared insights into the current state and achievements of gut microbiome research aimed at realizing a “zero disease society.” Our CEO, Mr. Horiguchi, spoke about the necessity of establishing a global research platform utilizing the space environment.

In the latter half of the event, a lively discussion took place, exploring the initiatives needed in the medical and healthcare fields as humanity’s activities expand into space, and the potential contributions of gut microbiome research. The session featured many insightful questions from the audience, sparking active dialogue.
