DigitalBlast Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda, Tokyo; CEO: Shingo Horiguchi) will hold the Final Report Meeting for the FY2024 Earth Observation Technology Research and Study Project “Future Space Exploration and On-Orbit Services Technology Research and Analysis” commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The event will be held online on March 5, 2025 (Wednesday).
About the Project
DigitalBlast has been commissioned to conduct this research project by MEXT under its FY2024 Earth Observation Technology Research and Study Project.
Space development and utilization contribute to industrial growth, safety, security, and the realization of a prosperous society. As a key national strategy, the Space Development and Utilization Division of MEXT’s Research and Development Bureau is actively promoting advancements in this field. Globally, research and development in space exploration are progressing, particularly in Europe and the United States. Japan must also consider future space development initiatives based on the latest technological trends worldwide.
To formulate future research and development plans for space exploration and on-orbit services, this project conducts technology-focused investigations into essential aspects of space exploration and on-orbit services.

- Developments in commercial low Earth orbit (LEO) service providers post-ISS
- Technologies related to cislunar and Mars exploration
- International lunar exploration and development efforts
